Children's Voices

Children in a Changing Climate has experienced, first hand, the great value of children's voices in climate change decision-making and action.

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child says that children have the right to be a part of decision making which affects them. Children in a Changing Climate fully supports this and facilitates this process with schools and communities, with national governments and internationally.

There are many ways you can make your voice heard, through international and national organisations - like us - or through your schools and youth groups, and through your own initiatives! Social networking sites are being used more and more as megaphones for the voice of children and young people.

This part of the site does two things:

  • We share insight and experience on climate change and disasters from children around the world;
  • We provide links to websites and information developed specifically to facilitate children's engagement in climate change debates.
